HEARN SDT8 MODEL
The SDT8 Model is the newest and most powerful Hearn Drill available. The SDT8 Model offer a number of upgrades from the earlier Hearn models. One of the most important design features of the SDT8 Model is that it can be retro-fit on almost all previous Hearn frames, so clients can upgrade without having to buy a completely new machine.
SDT8 Model Key Features
Retro-Fit to E: The standard machine comes with fully viable RPM settings from 225-750 RPMs. Custom set up options are available to Big Hole drilling at lower RPMs or High Speed drilling options up to 1200 RPMs
Spindle Drive Motor: The SDT8 has an upgraded 15hp motor compared to the 7.5hp on the SDT7
Quill Travel: The SDT8 comes standard with a spindle that can drill through 12" of steel
Spindle Speeds: The standard machine comes with fully vaible RPM settings from 225-750 RPMs. Custom set up options are available to Big Hole drilling at lower RPMs or High Speed drilling options up to 1200 RPMs
Spindle Feed Rate: 1" - 10" Inches Per Minute
Power Input Supply: 460v/480v
Spindle Options: MT4 set up standard; CAT40 option available for high speed drilling and milling upgrades

HEARN SDT7 MODEL
The SDT7 Model is the original Hearn Portable drill design. The SDT7 Model is an efficient machine that allows operators to quickly and efficiently drill steel. The machine easily mounts onto a girder for use in yard or off-site drilling.

Spindle Drive Motor: The SDT7 has a 7.5hp drive motor
Quill Travel: The SDT7 comes standard with a spindle that can drill through 5" of steel and an extended version that can drill through 9" of steel
Spindle Speeds: The SDT7 has fixed RPM settings - 75, 150, 225, 300, 455, 600, 912 & 1200 RPMs
Spindle Feed Rate: 1" - 10" Inches Per Minute
Power Input Supply: 220v/240v and 460v/480v are available
Spindle Options: MT4 set up standard
